The Kawai GL-30 ATX4 is a hybrid piano that represents a new era of musical instruments; one that has been created by the alignment of both digital and acoustic elements.

Equipped with an acoustic muting feature the Kawai GL-30 ATX4 offers all of the features of the GL series grand pianos but has the added benefit of allowing you to play silently, with headphones, making it the piano you can play at anytime, anywhere.

The new range of AnyTime hybrid pianos from Kawai offer remarkable touch, digital flexibility and maximum responsiveness.

In certain environments the sounds of an acoustic piano are not always welcome and indeed can be considered disruptive. Known as the “AnyTime Pianos,” the Kawai GL-30 ATX4 is part of the hybrid acoustic piano range that can be played anywhere, at any time, without disturbing anyone! This instrument allows full digital flexibility by incorporating both the elements of a powerful digital audio component with an acoustic muting feature which enables the feeling of playing a traditional acoustic piano whilst playing silently, in privacy, using headphones.

When in acoustic mode the Kawai GL-30 ATX4 can be played in traditional fashion with full bodied tone. Comparably when in anytime mode the hammers never make contact with the strings and instead activate digital elements that produce digital piano tone through headphones. With the muted acoustic components, Kawai ATX4 pianos employ a unique digital technology which delivers an authentic, warm tone. This instrument incorporates both the elements of a powerful digital audio component with an acoustic muting feature which enables the feeling of playing a traditional acoustic piano whilst playing silently, in privacy, using headphones.

Equipped with expanded piano sound memory this piano holds the largest sample size of any Kawai digital piano and its digital operation largely surpasses the capabilities of a traditional acoustic instrument with a selection of high fidelity sounds, a metronome and song recorder and convenient tuning facilities and transpose; suitable for multiple musical occasions.

The Kawai GL-30 ATX4 is the perfect hybrid solution for budding pianists who require their practice time to be anytime.
