The Kawai Novus NV12 is the flagship model in the Novus series, engineered to bring true grand piano presence into a hybrid instrument. As the successor to the NV10S, the NV12 raises the Novus concept with a larger, grand-inspired cabinet, a three position topboard and an authentic grand piano music shelf all designed to enhance acoustic projection and playing ergonomics.

Playing feel is driven by Kawai’s Millennium III Hybrid grand action. With real wooden keys, extended spruce key sticks and ABS-Carbon components, the action reproduces the nuanced motion and resistance of a high quality acoustic grand. High precision optical sensors capture hammer movement for responsive dynamics, while the built in grand damper mechanism recreates genuine pedal weighting and half-pedal control for truly expressive pedalling.
