The addition of microscopic surface textures to the jack works to heighten the piano's sensitivity and responsiveness (at the point where the jack meets the hammer) leading to greater control for the player. This is further strengthened by Kawai's use of carbon and polyacetal instead of traditional wooden jacks. The core feature of this impressive, high-quality piano has to be the K-200's straight-grained, quarter-sawn, solid spruce soundboard. Hand selected, tested and rigorously assessed; the unique positioning of this soundboard enables the easy transfer of instructions from your fingers to its keys ensuring perfect clarity, precision and expression.
Available in Ebony , white, Mahogany polyester, Dark Walnut Satin (Open pore) as with all Kawai pianos the K-200 comes with a 10 year manufacturers guarantee and is only 114cm tall, making it the ideal instrument choice for aspiring players. Designed to discreetly slot into any and all environments, the K-200 may be small but this does not detract from the instrument's ability to produce rich and vibrant timbres. Instead players can benefit from its additional features of a soft fallboard (a dampening mechanism) and its extended music stand that allows you to spread out your music and practice with ease.
