The Kawai K-300 AURES2 upright piano is the most recent and advanced addition to Kawai’s leading line of hybrid instruments. Identical to the Kawai K-300 but with the additional benefit of the new built-in AURES hybrid technology, this is the finest hybrid upright piano on the market.

AURES2 stands for the blending of audio and resonance and Kawai have ensured this instrument delivers high-quality audio without adding external speakers via their resonance system which uses the soundboard of the Kawai Upright piano.

Part of the Kawai “AnyTimeX3 Pianos,” the Kawai K-300 AURES2 is in the hybrid acoustic piano range that can be played anywhere, at any time, without disturbing anyone!

Kawai have developed the K-300 AURES2 by combining operational technology and award-winning craftmanship with the class-leading K-300 upright piano. The AURES2 offers soundboard technology specifically developed to incorporate high performance transducer components that are more efficient at transmitting energy than more traditional parts. The Kawai K-300 AURES2 produces an incredibly rich and powerful sound which is achieved and enhanced by the use of a solid spruce soundboard.

This instrument allows full digital flexibility by incorporating both the elements of a powerful digital audio component with an acoustic muting feature which enables the feeling of playing a traditional piano whilst playing silently, in privacy, with the newly developed Kawai SH-9 headphones that are matched to the internal sound source of the piano.

The Kawai K-300 AURES 2 offers the pianist endless versatility to explore their musical ideas due to its large range of digital piano voices and other orchestral and instrumental sounds.

Featuring advanced digital technology and the revolutionary Millennium III upright action that has been developed to enhance the pianists speed, power and control, the Kawai K-300 AURES2 can be heard through the built-in speakers, attached to the soundboard.

Furthermore, the Kawai K-300 AURES2’ Millennium III keyboard action incorporates the latest materials combining ABS Carbon materials. The ABS-Carbon compound is incredibly rigid and lightweight and ensures the keyboard action has increased durability, improved control and responsiveness and is less prone to degradation over time.

This model boasts an integrated lesson function and offers full digital convenience due to its full-colour 5” touchscreen that enables settings and sounds to be selected simply through the swipe or tap of a finger. This instrument is part of the range that has been able to successfully integrate sensors within the working of the piano action. The result? It reads the exact movements of each hammer.

Further features of this model include Harmonic Imaging XL technology, integrated Bluetooth MIDI and audio technology (which allows it to communicate with suitable smart devices wirelessly).

Part of the AnyTimeX3 instruments, the Kawai K-300 AURES2 delivers tonal clarity and offers an unrivalled dynamic range. This hybrid model offers the excellence of the Kawai K-300 upright with the enhanced ability of boasting the technology of the Kawai’s CA digital pianos. This unique technology creates a vibrant, lively sound using the natural wood material of the piano. The digital piano sound engine can be mixed with the traditional sound of the acoustic piano to create sound layers never-before heard from an acoustic instrument.
